Market Plaza Announces Renovations Complete

Wilmington, NC, August 18, 2011 – Market Plaza Shopping Center in Wilmington, North Carolina is pleased to announce major renovations have been completed. Site improvements included updated façade renovations, new parking lot lighting, parking lot resurfacing and two new pylon signs.


Anchored by Food Lion, Rite Aid, and Sherwin Williams, Market Plaza is located at Market Street and Kerr Avenue. “The renovations have truly transformed Market Plaza Shopping Center into a new and inviting neighborhood center, “said Mike Prevatte of ownership group Wilmington Development Company, who handled the construction management. “Our family is very excited about the improvements and we look forward to adding a few new stores to complement the great mix already there."
